The groups founding farther Mr Godfrey Moleke Phakoago, has harbored a passion for the medical industry in South Africa and abroad for many years. Mr Phakoago started his career in the corporate world at Safic, a JSE listed company (renamed Accéntuate Ltd), focusing on new developments and sales, his passion for hospitals grew and in the early 2000’s he was draw to develop one of South Africa’s first black owned hospital companies. PHG was established by a group of empowerment shareholders to take advantage of the South African government’s objective to establish a broader base of industry participations in the South African hospital industry.

PHG is currently developing their first two hospitals in Limpopo, being Polokwane and Burgersfort and has plans for a third shortly thereafter. These hospitals will cater to a growing population and demand for quality medical care within the Limpopo region. They will feature state of the art medical facilities and equipment.
